Which Style of Baby Shower Theme Suits You and Bub?

Every mum-to-be is different and for some mums, it’s their second or third shower, maybe even more, depending on big a family! But one thing to be mindful of with your special day is creating a baby shower which will represent you and your bub-to-be. Of course you haven’t met bub yet and it’s hard to know too much about them, especially if you don’t even know the gender yet, but your shower should reflect your personality and ensure that above all, you will enjoy every moment!

It’s about celebrating with your loved ones, this very special occasion which is a once in a lifestyle experience for you on your pregnancy journey and your little miracle of life who is growing inside of you. Will you choose a low-key at home affair, or an extravagant catered and professionally event styled soiree? Step One! Depending on if you are handing over the planning reins to your bestie, sister, sister-in-law or mum or mother-in-law, make sure you let them know what sort of style you would like, an intimate get-together with your girlfriends and family or if you want to include work colleagues and your family friends too!

Step Two! Do some research in to the sort of theming that you would like for your special shower day. From personalised place-cards to thoughtful favour gifts for your guests, it’s the little touches that make all of the difference! Try not to go too overboard, sometimes less is more! Some beautifully framed quotes with some fresh blooms and home-baked cup-cakes will have you well on your way to impressing your guests and  most of you, making the day memorable for you!

Also on trend this season, we are seeing cute soft pastel and gorgeous vintage pieces!
